Looking for some excitement this summer? Want to be part of something big? If you're 14-25, then the School Creative Centre in Rye is the place to be. For one week only we have brought an outstanding team of professional artists together for The Rapdramatic to create and produce a brand new show. But the show can't go on without you! Whether you like to play to an audience or prefer to work backstage, there's something for everyone. Aspiring performers will work with AudioActive's rap maestro Jon Clark or street dance impresario Makoto (Brit Awards, XFactor and JLS). Set design will involve street art with Luke Brabants and film and digital projections with Alice Ross. Vocals and sound technology with beatbox and live-looping sensation Ollie Finn will provide the music and soundtrack with production management headed up by top sound engineer Taff from Illuminate Design. The Rapdramatic culminates in a full-scale, live performance on Friday 16th August at 7pm. No experience is required - but you will need lots and lots of enthusiasm! So why not try something new and take part in this unique production. Having secured funding for The Rapdramatic, the School Creative Centre is offering places for FREE.
