Hastings has all the facilities you would expect from a major seaside resort and the quaint Old Town is still an important fishing port.
Smugglers Adventure and Underwater World are great for families, there are fabulous views from Hastings Country Park and the White Rock Theatre has a varied entertainment programme throughout the summer.
Drive westwards from Hastings along the coast and you'll discover the quiet charm and timeless elegance of Bexhill on Sea, renowned, since Victorian times for its bracing air and mild climate. Racing enthusiasts should visit on the first May Bank Holiday each year, as at this time the Bexhill 100 Festival of Motoring celebrates the fact that Bexhill is the birthplace of British motor racing.
